I have always suggested to students that artistic creativity begins with your own experiences. The creative process is an intriguing engagement with the chosen medium used to reflect that self-awareness. I dedicated the past 31 years as a public school art teacher and I was committed to generating that understanding to my students. I find myself at the crossroads and I now have the opportunity to embark even further on my own creative journey.

My experiences are many and the exhibit you will see here is a selection of works that represent some of what I have dabbled with, in terms of media and subject. I have tried not to limit myself to a single medium but I do find myself gravitating towards certain subjects.

I appreciate you taking a moment to look at my work.

I hope you will check in from time to time to share in my growth, my new experiences and the challenges of the creative process.

Thank you, Steve
